This high-potency probiotic supplement is specifically formulated to support gastrointestinal, immune, and oral health of children two years of age and older.

Probiotic supplements contain live, “friendly” bacteria that promote proper digestion, support immune system function, aid in production of vitamins, and defend against harmful disease-causing bacteria. Normally, the human digestive tract is populated by numerous different species of beneficial bacteria that the body requires for a normally balanced microbial community important for normal human development and health.

Normal maturation of the gastrointestinal and immune system is highly dependent upon development of a healthy balance of bacterial microorganisms in the digestive tract. However, a healthy balance of beneficial bacteria can easily be disrupted by infectious microbes in schools and daycare centers, allergens and irritants in foods, chemical toxins, and overuse of medications such as antibiotics. This product contains select probiotics to restore and maintain a normal balance of healthful microorganisms across the entire digestive tract to support healthy gastrointestinal and immune system function.

Supports gastrointestinal function: This formulation delivers large amounts of eight probiotic species to promote intestinal microbiota balance. A healthy microbiota balance is important to facilitate bowel regularity, modulate inflammatory responses within the gut, and promote normal intestinal barrier function.

Supports microbial balance: The probiotic species in this product are antagonistic to microbes in the intestines such as Escherichia coli, Clostridium perfringes, and C. difficile often responsible for rotavirus diarrhea and other infections in children.

Regulates immune responses: Each chewable tablet supplies substantial amounts of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium species critical for healthy development of a child’s immune system. The specific probiotics included also offer broad support for normal immune system function by enhancing immune responsiveness to pathogens while promoting immune tolerance to harmless dietary and environmental allergens.

Provides additional benefit for oral health: This product provides Lactobacillus species that normally reside in the oral cavity and help antagonize oral pathogens associated with cavities and gingivitis. And unlike ordinary sugars, use of xylitol, a natural sweetener, adds extra benefits for oral care as it has been shown to inhibit formation of plaque and cavities.

Hypoallergenic ingredients: Probiotics used in this formula are cultured on proprietary vegetable-based growth media. This product is free of the following common allergens: milk/casein, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat/gluten, yeast, and soybeans. Contains no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.

This product can be used on a daily basis by children over the age of two and may be particularly suitable for children with intestinal dysbiosis, increased intestinal permeability (“leaky gut”), food allergies, eczema, or gastrointestinal complaints such as diarrhea, constipation or abdominal pain. This product is also suitable for adults who may prefer a chewable tablet.
